BIT 2012, CRESCE LA SMART COMMUNITY

Ha pochi mesi di vita ma si comporta già da grande. Parliamo della smart community di Bit – Borsa Internazionale del Turismo dedicata al viaggiare tanto come passione quanto come professione: in poche settimane, Bit Community ) ha aggregato, dai canali social selezionati degli Espositori di Bit 2012, oltre 22.000 news multimediali.

La piattaforma online “Smart Community” sviluppata da Fiera Milano riproduce su Internet la rete di relazioni delle fiere, aggregando le informazioni, i contatti e le iniziative in forma digitale e in continuità nel tempo in un mosaico digitale altamente rappresentativo del comparto, in chiave sia BtoC sia soprattutto BtoB. E i protagonisti del settore si confermano fortemente attivi, aggiungendo ogni giorno centinaia di nuovi elementi. Sono stati già caricati: 20.777 tra post e news, 17.413 foto, 1.575 album e 3.617 video da 287 fonti.

 

“Bit Community è più di una comunità di settore, perché è parte integrante di una strategia di comunicazione integrata e articolata per il web 2.0 – spiega Marco Serioli, direttore Exhibitions di Fiera Milano. – In parallelo, stiamo anche rafforzando la nostra presenza su tutti i principali social media e tutto questo ci permette di supportare ancora meglio nel business gli operatori, e di offrire ancora più proposte e trend interessanti ai viaggiatori, valorizzando con il ‘tempo reale’ l’enorme patrimonio di informazioni e dati che ci viene dal dialogo costante con tutti i player mondiali più importanti del turismo. Un valore aggiunto, quello del tempo reale, che si accresce ulteriormente in queste settimane di avvicinamento alla manifestazione”.

 

Leader dell’economia digitale

Il turismo è il settore leader dell’economia digitale: vale da solo circa il 50% degli oltre 7,6 miliardi di euro di fatturato generato nel 2011 dall’e-commerce in Italia, secondo dati dell’Osservatorio del Politecnico di Milano. Operatori e consumatori fanno un intenso utilizzo della rete: Fiera Milano ha costruito Bit Community sulla analisi e rilevazione dei canali creati dagli espositori, in particolare su Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Flickr, e in risposta alle loro specifiche esigenze.

 

social networkRaccogliendo le informazioni multimediali pubblicate in rete dagli espositori e, pubblicandole in tempo reale, la piattaforma “Smart Community” Bit Community ha quindi un duplice ruolo: realizza un canale promozionale a disposizione degli espositori, una vera e propria esposizione digitale attiva 365 giorni all’anno, e agisce da abilitatore di contatti tra l’offerta e il mercato, sia BtoC sia soprattutto BtoB.

Dai padiglioni ai canali digitali

Bit Community porta online la struttura della manifestazione: in home page le due mappe dell’Italia e del Mondo corrispondono ai settori espositivi Italy e The World. In queste aree vengono pubblicati i contenuti provenienti dalle regioni italiane e dagli stati esteri, presenti in Bit attraverso gli enti ufficiali di promozione turistica: migliaia di news, video, immagini costantemente aggiornate.

 

Le soluzioni professionali, i tour operator, il turismo congressuale, l’innovazione tecnologica e i media, presenti in  fiera nel padiglione Tourism Collection, trovano posto nell’area BtoB di Bit Community. L’accesso è riservato agli operatori accreditati in Bit. In quest’area si trovano anche i flussi informativi provenienti dalle testate specializzate. Alle Agenzie di Viaggi, anch’esse content provider piuttosto attivi nei social network, Bit Community ha riservato un canale alla sezione “News dalle agenzie di viaggio”: un benefit digitale offerto agli Agenti che si preregistrano. Inserendo il loro profilo Facebook, le agenzie ritrovano pubblicati su Bit Community i post con cui promuovono offerte, pacchetti, iniziative.

 

La partecipazione alla community è aperta a tutti: qualunque utente sul web può accedere all’area pubblica, consultare i contenuti, condividerli e commentarli, contattare direttamente le aziende. Il settore BtoB è invece riservato agli Operatori preregistrati in Bit. La pubblicazione di informazioni è riservata agli Espositori, che possono aderire fornendo alla redazione gli indirizzi dei propri canali attivi nei social network e agli agenti di viaggio.
